I have been a one-man marketing department and produced a weekly newspaper.
From 2005-2010, I was the communications director for the World Food Prize Foundation. Our small staff and limited budget meant that I took care of all aspects of our marketing, from making the annual budget to writing copy, producing videos, and doing the layout and design of our marketing collateral.
It was a real privilege to help spread the word about the legendary figure Norman Borlaug and the recipients of his World Food Prize and the organization's other events and activities.
Both at the Northern Iowan and the Copenhagen Post, I did newspaper layout. In 2011, I redesigned the Post.
